Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Piper AI platform and managed services provided by GoPiperGo LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a North Carolina limited liability company. By subscribing to or using our services, you ("Agent," "you," or "Client") agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
GoPiperGo provides managed AI-powered lead response services for licensed real estate professionals. Our Piper AI assistant handles inbound lead qualification via SMS, voice, and web chat; property showing scheduling and calendar coordination; automated lead nurture sequences; and daily performance reporting. The service operates as a
managed platform --- we maintain, monitor, and optimize the AI systems on your behalf.
2. Eligibility and Account Requirements
2.1 Eligibility
Our services are available exclusively to individuals who hold a valid, active real estate license in the State of North Carolina and are affiliated with a licensed real estate brokerage. By subscribing, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and will maintain an active license throughout your subscription period.
2.2 Account Setup
To activate your Piper AI assistant, you must provide accurate business information including your legal name, brokerage affiliation, license number, and contact details. You must authorize integration with your Google Calendar (via OAuth2) for showing coordination. You must designate the phone number(s) from which Piper will communicate on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and current.
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials associated with your account. You must notify us immediately at support@gopipergo.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscription and Payment
3.1 Pricing
Service pricing is as displayed on gopipergo.com at the time of subscription or as agreed in a custom quote for brokerage-level engagements. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' written notice to active subscribers.
3.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the subscription anniversary date each month. Failure to pay within 7 days of the due date may result in suspension of service, during which Piper will not respond to inbound leads.
3.3 Refunds
Given the managed nature of our service and the costs incurred in onboarding, configuration, and infrastructure provisioning, refunds are not available for partial months of service. If you cancel before the end of a billing cycle, your service will continue through the end of the paid period.
4. AI Disclosure and Compliance
4.1 AI Transparency
Every conversation initiated by the Piper AI assistant begins with a clear disclosure that the lead is communicating with an AI assistant acting on your behalf. This disclosure is mandatory and cannot be disabled. Example: "Hi, I'm Piper, an AI assistant for [Agent Name]. How can I help you today?"
4.2 Fair Housing Compliance
The Piper AI assistant is programmed to comply with the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq.) and the North Carolina Fair Housing Act. The AI system does not use, reference, or consider protected class
characteristics --- including race, color, religion, national origin,
sex, familial status, or disability --- in any lead qualification, scoring, response generation, or property recommendation. See our separate Fair Housing Compliance Statement for full details.
4.3 TCPA and Messaging Compliance
All messaging through the Piper platform is conducted in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and A2P 10DLC registration requirements. This includes requiring prior express written consent before initiating AI-powered communications; processing STOP, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE requests immediately and automatically; enforcing quiet hours (no outbound messages before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM local time); maintaining opt-in and opt-out audit logs for a minimum of four years; and scrubbing against the Do Not Call registry every 31 days. You are responsible for ensuring that leads have provided valid consent before their information is entered into the Piper platform.
4.4 SMS / Text Messaging
By providing your phone number to GoPiperGo or to a real estate agent using the GoPiperGo platform, you may consent to receive text messages. GoPiperGo sends two categories of SMS communications:
4.4.1 Service Messages (Transactional)
These include messages related to your inquiry, lead response, showing coordination, account updates, appointment reminders, and service-related notifications. Consent for service messages is obtained via a required checkbox at sign-up.
4.4.2 Marketing Messages (Promotional)
These include special offers, product announcements, promotional content, and tips. Consent for marketing messages is obtained via a separate, optional checkbox at sign-up. This checkbox is unchecked by default and marketing consent is not required to use any GoPiperGo services.
The following terms apply to all SMS communications sent through our platform:
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your level of engagement and the workflows configured by your agent.
- Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of any message type at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS communications of that type will be sent. You may opt out of marketing messages independently without affecting service messages.

- Consent is Not a Condition of Purchase: You are not required to consent to receive text messages as a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Marketing consent is always optional and is never bundled with service consent.

5. Your Responsibilities
As a subscriber, you agree to the following:
- Ensure that all leads entered into the Piper system have provided valid, documented consent for SMS communications
- Maintain an active, valid North Carolina real estate license
- Review Piper-generated escalations and respond to leads that require direct agent attention in a timely manner
- Not attempt to modify, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Piper AI system
- Not use the platform for any communications unrelated to legitimate real estate business
- Not instruct Piper to make representations about properties that are false, misleading, or in violation of MLS rules
- Export relevant lead data to your own CRM system for your long-term records
- Comply with your brokerage's policies regarding AI-assisted communications
6. Data Ownership and Portability
6.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of your business data, lead information, and client records. GoPiperGo does not claim ownership of any data you provide or that is generated through conversations with your leads.
6.2 Data Portability
We provide CRM webhook integration and data export capabilities so that you may transfer your lead data, conversation histories, and showing records to your own systems at any time during your active subscription. Upon cancellation, a 30-day grace period is provided for final data export (see our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and deletion).
6.3 AI-Generated Content
Responses generated by the Piper AI assistant on your behalf are provided as a service. While Piper is trained to provide accurate, helpful, and compliant responses, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. You are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of representations made to your clients and leads.
7. Service Availability and Limitations
7.1 Uptime
We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain 99.5% platform availability. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. In the event of unplanned downtime, our error handling systems will queue and retry failed operations automatically.
7.2 Limitations
The Piper AI assistant is not a licensed real estate agent and cannot provide legal, financial, or contractual advice. Piper cannot execute contracts, negotiate terms, or make binding commitments on your behalf. Piper's responses are generated based on AI language models and may not always reflect the most current market conditions, property details, or regulatory changes. The platform is designed for the Raleigh-Durham Triangle market and may not include optimizations for other geographic areas.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GoPiperGo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost commissions, missed leads, or business interruptions. Our total cumulative liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to GoPiperGo in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoPiperGo LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the platform; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any applicable law or regulation, including Fair Housing laws; or representations you make to leads or clients outside of the Piper platform that reference or rely upon AI-generated content.
10. Termination
10.1 By You
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@gopipergo.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
10.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, if your real estate license is suspended or revoked, if you use the platform in a manner that creates legal liability or reputational risk, or if you fail to pay subscription fees for 30 or more days.
10.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your access to the Piper platform will cease. See our Privacy Policy for details on the data export grace period and data deletion timeline.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Wake County, North Carolina, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice to active subscribers before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
